Great seat saver!
This takes minutes to install and is great when you have pets in the back of your car. It fits across the back seat just right. I volunteer at a pet shelter and we are always transporting dogs here and there. The bottom of the cover is non slip making the pet feel safe. It’s also waterproof so spills, accidents etc will not damage your back seat, and also will minimize the amount of dog hair on the seats. The slots in the back of the base area make it easy to use a pet seatbelt as it will slide right through the gap but it has a Velcro closure to prevent messed from escaping. The sides unzip allowing for easy access for the pet. Looks and seems well made, the material is not at all flimsy and should hold up well with pets in the back. There are a couple of small pockets to keep pet related items safe. We haven’t needed to clean it yet so can’t speak to how easy that might be. Worthwhile purchase.
My seats are saved!
I’ve been debating on getting one of these and saw this one and had to give it a review. My Golden Retriever(Winnie) thanks the manufacturer, she can now ride in my car and not my wife’s. The size and fit in the vehicle does well in my 2021 Toyota Rav4. My door panels and seats are now fur and slobber free. Cleaning is as easy as hanging it over the fence and hitting it with the leaf blower and giving it a run in the washer to clean up the slobber and stuck on paw prints. It’s a nice, well-made addition for the car kit.
Keeps the car clean and the dog contained
Decided it was time to replace our prior canvas dog of 10+ years (which held up well). This one has some added features. It has the expected 4 headrest loops to secure the upper portion of the cover. It also has two “handles” on the underside to stuff into the corner of the seat/back to help keep the bottom from sliding during quick deceleration.There are zippered side panels to help fully enclose our dog. These sides also have straps to secure above the side windows. We don’t use these for short trips because they interfere with his head out the window, but we’ll use them on long trips. There’s also access to the seatbelt to hook a dog to (we haven’t used) and some pockets for accessories.The material is waterproof, which is good on the days we take him in the rain.Finally, the front center portion of the cover is a mesh to allow the dog to see the people in the front seat, which shows that extra level of thought put forth on this product.
Fits my car very well
I like how it can lay out flat and cover most of the back seat then after the dogs are in the car you can zip it up and keep them contained in the seat cover while on the move. Its nice and soft to the touch and my husky loves it. It also has some straps to keep it from unzipping when the dog gets close to the windows.It also has pockets to keep a water bottle or even the leash so you don’t misplace it when in the car. Very convient. I will say its mid-size if you have a truck it might be a bit smaller then what your looking for other then that its a decent size.
