Easy to use and it dries quickly
I love the design because it works like a pen and itâs way easier than regular nail polish brushes. A pen form is so much easier to use on your pet. It dries super fast which is obviously a plus. The color is bold although I used two coats but only to make sure I had an even coat. My only complaints are that when applying it doesnât go on evenly but thatâs to be expected from any nail polish. When applying it , it starts to dry fast so it starts to get a little gummy or caked up so you want to let the first coat dry before re-applying. You also want to make sure that when re-applying it that you donât keep going over it back and forth because thatâs when it starts getting caked up. Just apply one even stroke and wait for it to dry before going over it again. Plus, you have to apply another coat because when it dries it fades a little so in order to get it to look how it goes on, you have to apply a couple of coats. I think itâs a great product for the price and for what itâs being used for. This nail polish reminds me of those permanent metallic paint markers that you shake up like a can of spray paint. You know, the markers that are super watery when applying it and it bleeds out of the market and it smells really strong like spray paint. Itâs pretty much just like that but doesnât smell toxic like those markers.
Easy to use
Easy to apply and it dry fast.
Easy to use but chips quickly
Very easy to apply and looks great initially but it chipped almost instantly on my puppy, granted maybe an older dog that doesnât play as hard would have more success.
Adorable but not enough in pen for 4 paws!
I wish I could this 5 stars, but the amount of product in the pen is surprisingly insufficient. I got most of the way through doing all my doggy god-daughter’s nails when the pen ran out. When the pen was saturated with the polish it was so easy to apply, just glide it on and it’s solid and gorgeous! Even with dark nails, the polish covered it…Until the pen started running low. Then it got splotchy and felt a bit sticky to apply. I would have gladly paid more for a pen that could actually cover all 4 paws of 1 dog had I known. I should have bought 2, but common sense told me 1 would be fine. Nope. Will I be buying more of this doggie nail polish? Absolutely, but I’m going to have to order multiples.Summary: When it’s good, it’s fantastic, but when it’s not enough/gone, it’s splotchy.
Does not work well and runs out quick
I spent 30 minutes doing 5 nails on my dog. 5 minutes was actually painting the nails and the other 25 minutes was trying to get the paint to come out of the stylet. The pen ran out of ink on her 5th nail. She is a large dog but 5 of her nails does not equal 16 of my 8 lb dogâs nails. Would not recommend.
Loved it!
Great product! Great seller!
Wish it was better
This nail polish pen is like a marker. The tip has no give, so itâs like coloring on your pets nails. Pretty poor coverage over all. Only had enough in the pen for her front nails . For it supposed to be neon color, it was dark purple too. Also wore off mostly in one day.
It was easy to apply
I bought the purple polish first. It was easy to apply, dried fast and looked great! It only took two coats for full coverage. I liked it so much I bought the neon pink and neon purple. The neon pink looked amazing; the color is very bright but it’s harder to apply. It took three coats for full coverage. The constancy is thinner and took longer to dry. If your pet has a hard time sitting still, I would not recommend neon pink. The neon purple does not take as long to dry and is not as hard to apply as neon pink. However, it is far from bright neon. I was pretty disappointed with the color. Neon purple vs. purple: the neon purple takes a little longer to dry and is a little harder to apply than purple. The regular purple is actually brighter than neon purple.I would recommend the purple to everyone. As far as recommending neon pink and neon purple; due to the extended dry time, I would caution those who have impatient pets. If your looking for a bright color that pops, neon pink is it…neon purple is not.I did not include a photo of neon purple because it’s not that impressive.
Love these paint pens! Wouldnât go back to regular nail polish
If you’re considering getting this – Deffo do it ! Bought this for my Pup Alfie and I love it so much. The colour is really bright, it’s super easy to apply, it’s safe, and it’s great value for money.I saw some of the reviews saying people were upset it didn’t last long – it’s true, it probably only lasts (in perfect condition) for a couple of days, but that’s because it’s basically water-based paint – look at it like a special treat, an accessory for special occasions – not like a gel manicure for dogs that’ll last for weeks. When I applied it, I put a piece of paper under my dog’s paws, and tried the pen out on the paper first to make sure the ink was coming through. I’d recommend doing this, as id you haven’t shaken the pen enough before hand, it may take a couple of pushes for the ink to come through.Overall LOVE this product, and would consider purchasing more colours.
Covered both white and black nails well. I have a fussy dog who is sensitive about having anything near her nails, but due to the design and quick-drying of this pen, I was able to do all her nails really easily, and fast.First pic is one quick coat, first time done. Afterwards I touched them up, and have added silver dots (which show up really well on the purple – hope it shows on the second pic). She doesn’t mind it at all, and no smell. Purple is a nice colour, not too obvious when walking down the street (so husband approves!), but when meeting other dogs on the sidewalk, lots of compliments from other owners. 🙂
Great polish pen for my little pup. Cute and easy to apply.Would totally recommend if you’re looking for a cute puppy accessory5 stars
3 coats yesterday, and cant see anything today. Waste of money.
