A must-have for a happy hamster.
We’ve been using this brand since we first got our Hamster, Noodles, 3 years ago and it’s always been a must-have. It’s not messy and is super easy to clean up, buying one bag will easily cover up to 6 months of play-time (even though ours knocks his out of the container more often than not!) and is not abrasive to his paws at all.
Low dustâworks great for hamster sand bath
Use this for a hamster sand bath to protect her little lungs. She loves it and uses it to stay clean. We also added some to her litter corner to help absorb moisture and odors in her enclosure.
Perfect for hamsters!
Completely safe and very soft for hamsters! Also clumps a lot for easy cleaning.
Geko Sand
I used to use a different brand of sand that was colored and didn’t like it as my geko would turn blue from the sand.Since switching to this brand, we don’t have that problem, it’s easy to clean, looks great and I found was the best bang for my buck! We did add calcium to our sand and the geko really seems to enjoy it!
The definitive sand for rodents (this is a review for rodents)
As the title says, I use this sand for rodents, particularly of the hamster variety. It remains the definitive sand for all rodents that need sand, i.e. gerbils and hamsters. Yes, Niteangel is decent but it is ridiculously expensive for the price. I think for 20 dollars you get about 5 pounds of the stuff, whereas you get double the amount with Reptisand. An important feature of Reptisand is that it contains no added dyes and is free of calcium. Both of these are crucial to take note of in buying sand for rodents, for they are extremely harmful. Overall, you canât go wrong if youâre looking for sand for your rodentâs sand bath. I presume this is also a solid choice for reptiles.
Good
Great for sand baths, isnât really dusty and doesnât bother my hamster at all.
Picture is true to color
Was hoping to change something new for my dragon I thought this light calcium sand will look nice and it does! The calcium sand is very fine much finer than what I had, The calcium son is fine much funner than what I had if it is real beach, I would definitely consider that a top-notch beach (This is just to say that it is very fine, So you might want to consider that if you have a male bearded dragon!)
Happy ever after
My white winter dwarf hamster enjoyed a lot this sand from the first time she rolled over it. Her instincts were fast enough to understand where to pee. Please use this product if you want to have a happy hamster. The good thing is you just simply change it almost every day instead of cleaning the cage more often. My cozy snowball passed away because she was old, but certainly was the happiest hamster while alive. I recommend this.
I used this sand as my hamster sand bath. The sand is very clean and good quality. my hamsters love it.
I am using this brand for the first time, it was clean and super fine dust with no impuritiesRecommended
Perfect for my hamsters, I will buy more.
Todo bien
My Syrian hamster loves this for digging in her sand bath! Itâs fine but not dusty and is a soft white desert sand colour and contains no calcium. Only downside is that it picks up odours quickly, and if the bath also gets used as a toilet it becomes very smelly compared to regular wood shaving substrate and is harder to clean as any clumps break up easily. However when only used as a bath her fur is lovely and clean, and so soft. So am currently only putting in for play in evenings and removing when unattended, which works fine as she loves digging in it so much but doesnât get too many chances to use it for toileting. The bagâs also great value for money. Iâd never be without a sand bath for my hammy now!
